Structural characteristics of hydrogen purifier

1) Duplex structure: The adsorber is realized by digesting and absorbing the Austrian Ebner process. One adsorber is used and the other is prepared; one is in adsorption work, and the other is desorbed and regenerated, so it can realize continuous gas supply.

2) Adsorbent: The zeolite 5A molecular sieve is used, which has strong adsorption performance. Compared with similar products, it has the advantages of large adsorption capacity and deep adsorption depth. It can adsorb water vapor and impurities equivalent to 20% of its own weight under normal temperature and pressure. After adsorption, the dew point of the gas can reach below -60 °C. Using it to purify the hydrogen and nitrogen produced by ammonia cracking can effectively remove trace amounts of ammonia and trace amounts of water to produce high-quality pure gas.

3) Heating method: the adsorber has a built-in rod-type 8020 nickel-chromium alloy heater. The heating rod is designed to have a low surface load, and the heating rod does not contact the molecular sieve during heating. The "mushroom-shaped" airflow is used for heating, with uniform heating, fault bottom, and heating speed. Fast, sufficient regeneration, and good quality of pure gas, thus ensuring the high efficiency and reliability of the adsorber.

4) Purification work mode: The regeneration of ammonia decomposition and purification adopts manual switching mode, and PLC control can be used to implement automatic work.
